Practice or review important concepts and assess your student's abilities with this fun relay that builds collaboration, and communication and gets them moving!

Students race back and forth across a gym, field or other safe space while collaboratively answering arithmetic sequences.

Question examples:

-find the next three terms (growing and shrinking)

-find the missing terms (growing and shrinking)

-use the rule, write the first three terms

-guess my rule

After each successful round, they must draw part of a scarecrow.

Winners can be:

-the first team that finishes

-best drawing (class vote)

-best team spirit (class vote)

Printable certificates for winners and voting ballots are included.

BONUS: have a student who isn't feeling well or injured and cannot participate? I've included a student worksheet for students to complete the questions like task cards.
