Review important concepts and assess your student's abilities with this fun relay that builds collaboration, communication and gets them moving!
HOW TO PLAY:
Students race back and forth across a gym, field or other safe space while collaboratively answering review questions. After each successful round, they must draw part of a back to school character.
Winners can be:
-first team that finishes
-best drawing (class vote)
-best team spirit (class vote)
This 12 question relay reviews:
- Comparing and ordering numbers
- Rounding numbers
- Adding decimal numbers
- Subtracting Decimal Numbers
- Multiplying Whole Numbers (2 cards offered: 2x2 multiplication and 1x1 multiplication)
- Dividing Whole Numbers (2 cards offered: with and without remainders)
- Perimeter
- Area
- Telling Time
- Solving Word Problems (with multiple cards of word problems, each increasing in difficulty, to be used at teacher discretion)
Questions were developed from the 4th grade standards, but may be used for both 3rd and 5th grade.
